This is a 18kt Gold Plates muli-layer necklace.  The base metal is a non-tarnishing, 316L Stainess Steel.  The shortest chain is 16 inches/45cm.  The longest chain bears a replica of an ancient french coin.  This piece is reminiscent of vintage Greek adornments.
